Tearline Project

T-REX supports NGA’s Tearline.mil through outreach and research development with GEOINT & OSINT researchers and experts.

Tearline Project

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) sponsors Tearline.mil, a congressionally supported publication platform that features unclassified geospatial intelligence from academic and non-profit contributors using open research and commercial imagery. The project supplies open-source intelligence to grow authoritative reports for NGA, federal partner agencies, and public usage to support and assist in the agency’s mission. T-REX works with NGA to identify and coordinate with scholars at academic institutions and non-profits, producing unclassified material highlighting the value and importance of GEOINT skills.

Nathanael Bassett, PhD, serves as T-REX’s Tearline Director, leading efforts to identify and partner with academic and non-profit contributors.
