About Us

Powered by curiosity and caffeine, T-REX is building the future of St. Louis, one start-up at at time.

What is T-REX?

Our Mission

T-REX is a nonprofit innovation and entrepreneurship center in downtown St. Louis dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and the future job creators shaping our region.

Through affordable facilities, entrepreneurial programming, and connections to mentors, accelerators, universities, business resources, and government programs, T-REX helps founders grow their skills and build relationships – helping take their businesses from idea to impact.

By fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration, T-REX is helping build a stronger, more connected, more economically vibrant St. Louis.

Why the name T-REX?

In our first form, our tech incubator occupied part of the Railway Exchange Building downtown.

Technology Entrepreneur Center @ the Railway Exchange = T-REX

Just like the startups we support, we ourselves have grown and evolved over time. Our name is not just a cool moniker, but an important part of our history – we are still a group committed to growing gigantic companies from the ground up, beneath the St. Louis skyline.

Who is running this place?
