T-REX Alumni
We’ve had countless companies start at T-REX and grow to the point of needing to fly the nest to build something even bigger. We’re so proud of our alumni who got started right here!

“T-REX is such a special part of Balto’s history. Thanks to T-Rex, we had an opportunity to build a team and develop our idea in a very creative, fun environment, full of super talented people.
The story we lived in T-Rex built the foundation of where Balto is today: from our 2 founders, Marc and Chris, tirelessly working at the office 24/7 to securing our first rounds of funding and growing the whole team.
And fun fact: we became one of their largest tenants as we spread across multiple offices!
We are grateful to T-Rex for the space and opportunity it provided to us, and we always love to visit.” – Marc Bernstein, CEO & Founder
Impossible Sensing uses laser analysis, AI, and robotics to electrify the economy and flip the carbon equation years ahead of schedule. NASA has trusted our sensors since 2016. These proven systems now cut costs, boost efficiency, and slash carbon impact here on Earth. What took months to measure now takes seconds.
“Impossible Sensing was literally born at T-REX. We filed our articles of organization on the fifth floor in 2016. Then came growth. The late Patty Hagen taught our founder how innovation works in the region, and Kathleen Klein made the connections that got the company going. Without T-REX, Impossible Sensing would not be calling St. Louis home today.” – Pablo Sobron, Founder & CEO
Less Annoying CRM is a simple customer relationship manager for small businesses. If you need more than a spreadsheet, but less than an enterprise CRM, LACRM is for you.
“In 2014, I moved my startup from San Francisco to St. Louis. We had some revenue and a few remote employees, and it was time to lay down roots somewhere. I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, and my early attempts to find us office space went nowhere. We were way too early to get a real commercial lease, but we desperately needed an office to host our growing team.
T-Rex was exactly what we needed, and I honestly think that without T-Rex, the move to St. Louis might have failed. The staff welcomed us with open arms and set us up with the perfect space for our unique needs. When we needed to expand our phone support, they hooked us up with small cubicles separate from the main office so the noise wasn’t a problem. When we started hiring more aggressively, they freed up a dedicated conference room for us to do our interviews. Whenever we hit a bottleneck, they helped us push through it.
We outgrew that space in just under a year and moved into a more permanent office, but that year was pivotal in our journey. 12 years later, we now have our own floor in a downtown office building just a couple blocks away, but those of us who were there in the early days still consider T-Rex our original home.” – Tyler King, CEO & Co-founder
uFab is an advanced manufacturing startup that has developed novel methods to produce printed circuit boards, a foundational component of nearly every electronic device, at price parity with overseas factories. Our patented laser-based manufacturing process consolidates the traditional factory line into a single piece of equipment and eliminates chemical etchants and their waste streams entirely. The result is domestic circuit board production that costs less, turns in hours rather than weeks, and can be stood up quickly to meet growing technology demands.
“T-Rex was instrumental in nurturing uFab’s growth and development. T-Rex was uFab’s base of operations for its first 2 years, providing a wonderful and supportive space to take an idea to a fully developed product.” – Tyler Richards, Founder & CEO
